Joey Thunder Attends NAMM Convention! « Read Less
I finally had the chance to visit a convention I have been wanting to go see since I was about fifteen years old, NAMM. It was a little over whelming with all of the people and instruments, but I quickly learned my way around on the third day or so. I got to visit Aguilar's booth (which was my favorite part) pretty early on and see some familiar faces there. I have to say I am so excited on the soap bar pickups they now have, stopped by the legendary G&L booth and was introduced to the owner by my good friend Rico from Forever The Sickest Kids; Some of the nicest people I have ever met.
After that, we decided to go check out some other dealers, Fender was the big one, let me just say, they are by far so over powered. Fender would and did have a portion of their own floor at the convention, it was basically walking into a guitar center of Fender guitars.
All in all, it was an amazing experience, I got to see some great musicians play, including some legendary jazz players. Had some memorable talks with company owners and so on.
Here are some pictures of my favorite basses that I found and some awesome booths and memories I'll be holding onto! What is your favorite instrument?
